Using Homeopathic Remedies for Birthworkers (Introductory Course)

Homeopathy is a safe and effective modality for healing from healing for both mother and baby after childbirth.
 
Sue Anello has been teaching birth professionals how to use homeopathy as part of their tool kit and to use all the remedies in that yellow kit in their birth bags since 1999.  Now Sue is offering a course specifically for post partum doulas to be able to assist moms after labor.

Workshop Syllabus:

  • Intro to Homeopathy – how it works
  • Mother’s health during pregnancy:
    • Treating common aches and pains, morning sickness, varicose veins, cramping, digestive complaints, early contractions, pre-term labor, presentation, and more
  • Homeopathy in labor:
    • How to use the Childbirth Remedy Kit, available for purchase for $50
    • Specific problems pre-labor and during labor
  • The baby:
    • Birth difficulties, retained urine, asphyxiation
  • Postpartum:
    • Hemorrhage, infection, episiotomy and tearing, lactation, depression, mastitis
  • Self-care for the doula and midwife:
    • Sore back, lack of sleep, emotional state

Remedies post labor for

  • Cuts and tears
  • Shock and bruising
  • Birth trauma
  • New baby care (including umbilical care, feeding issues, circumcision, colic and more)
  • Mastitis and other infections
  • Emotional support etc

There are 18 remedies in a basic birth kit and Sue covers all of them and more.​​
